As both a NEPIC member and participant of NEPIC’s SME programmes, we were delighted to attend the recent Pharma Connect: India Special event, hosted by NEPIC (North East Process Industry Cluster) in Sunderland. NEPIC has forged strong relations over the last decade with the India Chemical Council (ICC) and the Karnataka Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Manufacturers Association (KDPMA) and their related member companies. This event brought together NEPIC member companies and the visiting Indian delegation to explore prospective synergies. We found it a fascinating opportunity to meet with Indian Pharmaceutical manufacturing representatives to discover opportunities they present.

Thermal Compliance specialise in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and healthcare industries with some of our recent clients including major players such as GlaxoSmithKline, Bio Products Laboratory, Alexion Pharma International and Eli Lilly. “We value our clients and pride ourselves as responsible employers at Thermal Compliance with effective policies, procedures and guidelines firmly in place to achieve excellent standards and safe working practice with regards to health and safety in the work environment. We are proud to have achieved this accreditation to re-affirm and demonstrate our achievements and commitment to health and safety”. Penny Maughan, Thermal Compliance. Gemma Archibald, Director of Alcumus SafeContractor said: "Major organisations simply cannot afford to run the risk of employing contractors who are not able to prove that they have sound health and safety policies in place. More companies need to understand the importance of adopting good risk management in the way that Thermal Compliance has done. The firm’s high standard has set an example which hopefully will be followed by other companies within the sector. SafeContractor plays a vital role in supporting our clients in meeting their compliance needs, whilst working with their contractors as they progress through the accreditation process.” |
